We provide in-house  design services.  We will help you design the right home for your family's needs and budget.  We can customize your new home by adapting standard plans to meet your needs, design your new home from the ground up, or work with your own design plans from another architect.

We would be happy to meet with you at our office in Middletown, MD or on your site.  Typically, we meet with clients two to three times prior to ordering their home.  We realize that buying a home is a very important decision and we take the time to work with you to get everything just right. 

Does a custom designed house cost more money? 

Generally speaking, No!  Your final cost is based upon the following factors:

1. The size and style of the house.

2. The complexity of the set.

3. The location which concerns permit costs, impact fees and costs associated with site development.

4. Options and upgrades chosen by you (if any).

What types of changes can you make?

You can rearrange rooms, doors, windows, kitchens, baths, etc. without changing the price of the home.  You can "flip" or reverse plans without affecting the price.  You can convert a cape plan into a ranch plan or convert a ranch plan into a cape.  You can add windows, substitute a slider for a door, or make a house larger or smaller.  Just tell us what you want!

Custom design is what we're all about!  We want to hear your dreams, wants, and needs.  We'll work with your ideas and budget to create a home just for you.  Why would you build a new house that does not provide the exact features you want?

Where do you start?

1. Take a look at our manufacturers' plans and select one that generally meets your needs and print out the plan.

2. Mark-up the plan by moving doors, walls, windows, etc.

3. Give us a call at 301-473-7499 and set up a time to meet with us.
    We'll take it from there!

4.  After our meeting, we'll get back to you in a few days with a preliminary design and a "ballpark" price.  From there, we'll refine your plan until it's perfect.
